To the sounds of a mourning march, the honor guard set a wreath on the counter in front of the Eternal Flame at the Kremlin Wall in the Alexander Garden. Together with the head of state, Minister of Defense Andrei Belousov, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of the armed forces, military personnel and graduates of military universities were present. Under the measured sounds of the metronome, the memory of the victims was honored with a minute of silence.
