A graduate of the Kostroma Academy of RHB of Defense was awarded the title of Hero of Russia

Defense Minister Andrey Belousov today presented personalized firearms and the highest state awards to a fighter who showed courage and heroism in the performance of military duty. Among the officers who have proved by personal example that they are able to perform combat tasks of any complexity is a graduate of the Military Academy of the RKBZ from Kostroma. Vladislav Vashchelin from the first days of the special military operation participated in the assault operations and made a significant contribution to the successful liberation of 13 settlements in the Kharkiv region, Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics. He is an example of courage, dedication and heroism. “I am familiar with the history of each of you and I can say with confidence that your heroic deeds deserve the deepest respect, are an example for the younger generation and all citizens,” said Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.
