A celebration in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day was organized at the highest point in Europe. A festive program was prepared at the Azau clearing for the residents and guests of the republic in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day. It included a sports and entertainment show by animators "Adventures of Young Heroes," nail hammering competitions, and a master class on weaving camouflage nets. Trench candles were made on the spot, which burn for up to five hours. Shavings are placed in a tin can and filled with melted paraffin. There were many people willing to give warmth to the participants of a special military operation. This included both children and adults. Alexey Orlov came with his family from Podolsk. Together with his sister, he enthusiastically started helping the defenders of the Motherland. Everything they did would soon be sent to the front line. Members of the volunteer platoon of the public organization "Faith Stronger Than Fire" deliver two thousand candles and two hundred nets to the soldiers every month. Activists operate throughout Kabardino-Balkaria, and anyone interested can join them. The festive program continued. Vacationers competed for the title of "Jigit of Elbrus," battled in an army-style KVN, and demonstrated strength in sports competitions. The audience loudly and enthusiastically supported the participants. Guests of the republic were delighted to celebrate the country's special day here - at the foot of Elbrus.
