According to the investigation, the fraudster developed a plan for theft of funds in 2011. From 2013 to 2015, the man headed the credit consumer cooperative Credit Union Smart Live, which he created, which provided services for high-yielding activities, the press service of the Amur Region Prosecutor’s Office told TASS. The defendant used the money for personal needs. In order not to arouse suspicions among depositors, from time to time he gave the members of the cooperative the profitable part of deposits at the expense of incoming money from new participants. 401 people suffered from the activities of the fraudster, they suffered damage totaling 190 million rubles. It is noted that more than 100 million rubles the defendant compensated during the investigation of the criminal case.
