The Preobrazhensky court of Moscow extended the arrest of former Deputy head of Rosprirodnadzor Oleg Dolmatov, who is accused of committing fraud on an especially large scale. The man will remain in custody until at least April 4.
Dolmatov is accused under articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on fraud and abuse of power. He held the post of deputy head of Rosprirodnadzor in 2011-2017. Recently he worked as a CFO of a commercial company. The court decision, which leads TASS, stated that the involvement of the suspect in the incriminated crimes is confirmed by the testimony of the accused, as well as witnesses, inspections of objects and expert conclusions. Earlier it was reported that the court arrested the property of Oleg Dolmatov, as well as the former head of the Federal Center for Analysis and Assessment of Technogenic Impact (FCAO) Vladislav Novikov. The men are accused of fraud for 370 million rubles.
