A woman killed a drunken husband with a stool when, during an argument, he molested her, insulted and bit her hand to the blood. “The wife first fought back with her hands, and then grabbed a wooden stool and hit her husband several times on the head and body,” the Sverdlovsk regional court said. Despite his injuries, the man managed to leave the apartment and lay down next to the door in the entrance. The wife thought he had fallen asleep, and then realized that her husband was not breathing. The woman called an ambulance. Doctors confirmed the death of the victim. In court, she stated that in this way she defended herself from her aggressive husband and allegedly hit him only once. However, the examination showed that only on the head of the man was applied stool and hands at least 11 blows. “By applying them, the woman could not help but understand what this can lead to,” the court said. The verdict tried to appeal the lawyer of the defendant, but the decision of the court of first instance was left by the Sverdlovsk regional court unchanged.
