The importance of increasing readiness for self-defense in case of emergencies, accidents, military conflicts was told to schoolchildren by invited guests. Schools, lyceums and colleges hold such lectures on a regular basis. This year, civil defense specialists are giving a second open lesson, and a further schedule has been planned. And the lecturer showed the children examples of personal protective equipment. Vladimir Belokelov spoke about the types of gas masks, how to use them correctly and the number that is available in the reserve of the regional government. Among the personal protective equipment shown were even special portable cradles for infants. Special attention was paid to the evacuation: how and where to move in case of danger, where to learn about shelters, how to prepare an apartment for an emergency. And, of course, we talked about the threat of the new era – drones – and how to protect yourself from them.
