At the Puppet Theatre is preparing a premiere about the travels of Baron Munchausen

Prepare props, adjust the light and repeat the text - in the small hall of the Yekaterinburg Puppet Theater, the last preparations are being made before the performance. Very soon the scenery around the hero will come to life, and the audience will go on a great journey with Baron Munchausen. The well-known baron-fantasy straight from his living room moves viewers to different parts of the planet - from snowy Russia to hot Africa. The hero comes up with exciting adventures on the go, and sometimes gets into trouble because of the rich imagination of the theater guests. The Incredible Journeys of Baron Munchausen is a solo performance. The actor’s partner here is the audience – the hero constantly communicates with the viewer and sometimes even asks for help in inventing a new fiction. With all the scenery and props, the actor works independently. The emphasis in the production is made on episodes of the Baron’s biography, which are not known to the general public. Famous stories about flying on a cannonball and a cherry bone, which we saw in cartoons and movies, are mentioned in passing. The main theme of the show is imagination and imagination. Baron Munchausen teaches young viewers to fantasize, because in an imaginary world, everything is possible. The viewer will be able to try to "find Munchausen" very soon - the premiere of the play will take place this Saturday at the Yekaterinburg Puppet Theater.
