📝 Summary

The production is based on documentary material.

In the Vladimir Regional Drama Theatre, the premiere of the play "Bride Militia" was held. The production is based on genuine letters of sniper girls of the Great Patriotic War and members of the militia in the Donbass in 2014. Vera Kulikova will continue. Letters of participants of the Great Patriotic War and the poem by Anna Revyakina “Shakhtar’s daughter”. They formed the basis of the play "Militia Brides". The staging was written and staged by Vladimir drama actress Ariadne Bruner. This is her first directorial work. In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, in the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland, the theater dedicated the performance to women snipers. We remembered our amazing snipers of the Great Patriotic War: Lyudmila Pavlichenko, Rosa Shanina. A huge number of them are Heroes of the Soviet Union. That's how this composition was written, a staging. It’s very easy, because the theme when war is not a woman’s business, the theme is common, says director, actress Ariadne Bruner. There are two actresses on stage. Ariadne Bruner and Anna Luzgina. In "Militia Brides" Anna plays the role of the miner's daughter Maria. I had to tell this story so that the viewer could connect his emotions and his associative threads. I don’t think there are people in our community who haven’t been touched by this story. Because someone has friends, someone has brothers and sisters. This story is one, says actress Anna Luzgina. The guest of honor is the poet Anna Revyakina, the author of the poem “The Shakhtar Daughter”. According to her, the image of Mary is collective. Anna herself personally knows more than one woman who chose the path of a warrior. The poem “Shakhtar Night” was written by me in 2016, in Donetsk it was written. This is a poem about a young girl, 22-year-old Maria, who made a very difficult, but at the same time the only right, as it seemed to her, decision to take the place of her deceased father in the ranks. Father went to the militia, died. And she became a sniper, took his place in the ranks, notes the poet Anna Revyakina. At the end of the show, the hall stood up. The audience made no secret of tears.
