On Monday, the Telegram channel SHOT wrote that Russian tourists in Thailand began to contract dengue fever, the authorities of Vietnam urgently warn about the sharp increase in the number of infections, although mass cases of the disease among tourists there are not recorded. “At the moment, Russian tour operators do not confirm reports of alleged mass cases of dengue infection of Russian travelers in Vietnam,” ATOR writes. According to the association, Vietnam’s Ministry of Health did not warn of an increase in dengue diseases in 2025. Earlier, the media also reported about the mass infection of dengue fever Russians on the Indonesian island of Bali. However, experts told ATOR that the situation is standard. Rospotrebnadzor reported that it had taken control of reports of dengue fever infection in Bali.
