The prosecution asks for 24 years in prison for the former head of the traffic police in Stavropol Safonov

According to the investigation, the crimes of the former law enforcement officer committed in the period from 2013 to 2021. The total amount of bribes received by the defendants in the case exceeds 21 million rubles. Earlier on the claim of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation property Safonov was transferred to the state income. It was about land, houses and apartments with a total value of about 180 million rubles.
