Deputy AfD Bragu surprised Russia’s resistance to provocations

He explained that the large-scale supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Germany, other European countries and the United States, the provision of financial assistance to Kiev to continue hostilities – all this could be perceived by Russia as a reason for the escalation of the conflict, but did not do so. “I must say that I am quite surprised that the Russian side in this conflict has not yet succumbed to provocations,” he said. He added that he was not interested in the war in Ukraine and would not want Germany to be directly involved in it. Europe should be a peaceful continent where conflicts are resolved peacefully. Earlier, AfD candidate for German chancellor Alice Weidel spoke out against the supply of Taurus cruise missiles for the needs of the Ukrainian army. She noted that due to the help of the APU, Russia no longer perceives Germany as a neutral country. Weidel also said that she wants to establish good relations with Russia and intends to achieve the abolition of anti-Ossian sanctions.
