Died People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Bedros Kirkorov
On the 93rd year died people’s artist of the Russian Federation Bedros Kirkorov, reports the Agency With reference to the son of the singer – Philip. Bedros Kirkorov was born on June 2, 1932 in Varna, where he graduated from a vocational school. For several years he worked in a shoe factory and sang in an amateur choir. And in the early 60s he entered the Department of Musical Comedy of the A.V. Lunacharsky State Institute of Theater Art (the current Russian Institute of Theater Art - GITIS). Even in his student years, Bedros Kirkorov began to perform in the programs of the Moscow Concert. He performed songs in Italian, Russian and Bulgarian. He collaborated with the Eddie Rosner Orchestra and Central Television and All-Union Radio. Later he was a soloist of the Moscow and Novgorod regional philharmonics, performed with the orchestra of Russian folk instruments named after Babanov. Among the most famous songs of his repertoire are “Alesha”, “Fate”, “I love you, Russia”, “Song of Kalitina”.
