But when a dramatic plot arises, where silence becomes more expressive sometimes than words, we did not invent these silences. <...> And those words that are necessary, they all remain, Zhenovach said. He noted that Chekhov himself loved to use the remark “pause” in his plays. In March, the Theatre Art Studio will present Chekhov. Cherry orchard. No words! at the Alexandrinsky Theatre of St. Petersburg. There STI will also show its other performances, in particular, "Three Sisters" by A. P. Chekhov and "Reserve" by S. D. Dovlatov.
