According to him, the low magnitude, as well as the depth at which the tremors occurred - about 10 km - suggest that the threat of a tsunami does not exist. "Primorye seismic events were not noted, there is no tsunami threat for the region," the expert told RIA Novosti. Earlier in local Telegram channels there was information about an earthquake of magnitude 3 to 5 and the threat of a tsunami, including for the Primorsky Territory. Press Secretary of Primhydromet Varvara Koridze said that the Agency is constantly monitoring seismic activity in the region and is ready to promptly report a real threat of tsunami. Corizda advised not to panic and trust only trusted sources of information.
