According to him, recently one of the key global trends is the growth of mobility of school graduates, and our country is increasingly chosen for higher education. In this sense, Russia is among the top priority countries for higher education in our universities. And we want to keep this advantage for many years to come, Falkov said. The Minister also commented on the pilot project to update the higher education system. “It is not by chance that we are conducting an experiment, a pilot project. And we see that interest, on the contrary, only increases in the Russian higher education system, said Valery Falkov. Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science noted that in Russian universities admission to engineering areas increased by 7%, while social, economic and humanitarian disciplines fell by 2.8%.
