There is an Association for the Study and Application of the Ilizarov Method (ASAMI), which distributes the method of a famous surgeon. “Over the years of medical tourism, if we concern our colleagues, more than 9 thousand of our colleagues were educated in the walls of the Ilizarov center from 75 countries of the world,” said Burtsev. The Russian Export Center actively supports medical tourism. Earlier it was reported that Russia has replaced the program for patients with the Ilizarov apparatus.
