In this issue, we invite you to the Grand Hall of the Kursk Drama Theater named after Pushkin, where on November 6, 2023, a concert of the "My Rachmaninoff" festival was held under the direction of conductor Fabio Mastrangelo, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the great composer. The festival took place in several cities in Russia - from Kaliningrad to Yakutsk, but the program was never repeated. In Kursk, Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2 and his romances in original arrangements for voice with orchestra specially made for this festival were performed. Throughout the evening, the symphony orchestra "Russian Philharmonic" under the direction of chief conductor Fabio Mastrangelo was on stage. The soloists were Pelageya Kurenna and Alexander Bezrukov. Additionally, in this issue - the history of the theater and detailed comments from the conductor, artistic director, and initiator of the "My Rachmaninoff" festival, Fabio Mastrangelo.
