Russian coach Vera Kiryashova was invited as a judge for the April stage of the World Cup in gymnastics in Croatia.
She added that she did not know if she would be the only Russian judge. “The first tournament, which I plan to work after a long break, will be held in a month in Croatia,” Kiryashova said. After Croatia, she is scheduled to travel to Qatar. In the Croatian Osijek from 11 to 13 April will be the stage of the World Cup in gymnastics. Since 2022, Russian judges have been banned from international competitions. Vera Kiryashova, Elena Redyanova and Irina Savosina are three Russian coaches who have received a neutral status, allowing Belarusians and Russians to perform at tournaments under the auspices of the Federation of Gymnastic Sports (FIG).
