According to the resolution signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the experiment on selective marking of auto parts will take place from February 25, 2025, to February 28, 2026. Manufacturers and importers of oil filters, car windows, and spark plugs will be able to participate voluntarily in the experiment. From March 1 to August 31, 2025, an experiment on voluntary marking of chocolate, bakery products, marmalade, jelly, chewing gum, and other products will take place in Russia. Meanwhile, a bill has been introduced in the State Duma to toughen penalties for the sale, production, transportation, and storage of unmarked alcoholic and tobacco products. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has proposed to introduce mandatory marking of central heating radiators, sections, and heating convectors starting from September 1.
