We rely on the centuries-old victorious traditions of the Russian army, on the strength, faith and courage of our ancestors. The current year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory has been declared in Russia as the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland in honor of the invincible generation of winners, in the name of the memory of their heroism and sacrifice, of the epochal victory they gave to the world, and in honor of the heroes who today on the battlefield adequately continue the military work of their ancestors. In the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin presented medals “Golden Star” to servicemen awarded the title of Hero of Russia.
