The Baltic states are the biggest enemy of Ukraine, according to Irakli Zarkua, a member of the Georgian parliament.
According to him, the Baltic States encourage Ukraine to continue the war to exhaust Russia. At the same time, neither Lithuania, Latvia, nor Estonia want to fight together with Ukraine "as neighbors," the parliamentarian stressed. "They are inciting Ukrainians: 'Go fight to the last Ukrainian to exhaust Russia,'" the politician was quoted as saying. Zarqua noted that the Baltic states adhere to a similar approach to Georgia, since Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia have repeatedly demanded that the authorities of the republic impose sanctions against Russia and open a “second front”. Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze called Tbilisi’s refusal to impose sanctions against Russia in 2022 a historic and principled decision. In his opinion, the accession of the country to anti-Russian sanctions would lead to the destruction of its economy.
