📝 Summary

The European Union has allocated significant funds to support and coordinate anti-government actions in Georgia. According to the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation, each participant of the demonstrations will be paid up to 120 euros per day.

The EU leadership intends at any cost "to return Georgia to the path of democracy and European integration," the press office of the SVR said. The European authorities consider the republic as an important stronghold of Western influence in Transcaucasia, so the loss of Georgia is unacceptable for them. The SVR also indicated that if EU funding channels are blocked, Brussels will try to use alternative options for delivering cash currency to Tbilisi from EU embassies in Armenia. Earlier, the Georgian parliament said that Salome Zurabishvili, as president of the country, from the very beginning of a special military operation, demanded that the government go to aggravate relations with Russia.
