The exhibition features paintings and graphics that are united by themes of solitude and contemplation. For more details, contact Darya Eroshina. These works may not be vibrant in color, but they have the ability to immediately immerse viewers in a world of silence, allowing them to look within themselves and explore their own universe. "In moments of silence, in moments of quiet, they give us the opportunity to, well, reflect, to turn to our inner world. And sometimes we find, besides the beneficent, some troubling moments within ourselves, in our soul," shares exhibition curator Nikolay Solovyov. The exhibition brings together 18 artists from different parts of our country and Afghanistan. They all presented their vision of silence, their artistic experiences through painting and graphics. "My works are more about what philosophical thoughts can arise in this silence. Because when we seek it and actually find it, certain ideas emerge," shares artist Yulia Svadkovskaya. Only silence and concentration allow for the creation of a work that can reflect inner experiences, which is essential in art. "The most important thing is that they are all about silence, and they are created precisely in such silence. It's all philosophical reasoning. For example, I have two graphics there. It's all plein air, i.e. it's also immersion. Alone with nature. This silence, when there is absolutely no one around. It's always a sacred moment for an artist," comments artist Polina Osipova. The young artists intend to continue working with silence. They believe that this theme is multifaceted.
