In 2023, the youngest Azamat died. Having learned about the death of Azamat Kumakhov, his second cousin Tembot Unagasov went to the zone of a special military operation. The young man had previously served in one of the units of the departmental guard of Regardie. In the new regions, he protected the civilian population, helped bring children out of the zone of combat contact, the mother of the hero recalls. In July of last year he was killed during one of the assaults. In memory of Tembot Unagasov, a memorial plaque was opened in the 7th school of Nalchik. The photo exhibition “Mothers of Heroes” was opened in the lobby of the state museum. Representatives of the Committee of Family Soldiers of the Fatherland timed the exposition to the International Women's Day. At the opening ceremony, mothers whose sons heroically died defending the Motherland, the Committee of Families of the Warriors of the Fatherland of the CBD presented medals and letters of thanks to the organization. The exhibition will run until March 15. Every resident of the republic can visit it.
