Fourteen-year-old Akhmat Dudayev from the Chechen Republic began to fight confidently. The athlete, although young, has high expectations, coaches say. The fans were constantly watching what was happening. They couldn't contain their emotions. The battle ended with the confident victory of Akhmat Dudayev. Nalchik hosts the championship and championship of the North Caucasus in kickboxing. More than 600 combatants from all over the district came to the capital of the republic. About a third of them represent Kabardino-Balkaria. This year, not only boys, but also girls participate in the championship – only 40 athletes. Kickboxers aged 10 to 40 years perform in different weight categories. The course of the fights is closely watched by the judges. The results immediately appear on screens. There are several contractions at the same time. Disciplines differ in the degree of contact with the opponent. In the low-kick section, kicks and hands are applied without limiting force. In light contact, strong and accented blows are prohibited. And in pointfighting, the fight is intermittent: after the so-called “clean” blow, the referee stops the fight and scores points. New achievements were wished to all participants of the competition at the solemn opening. To wish the athletes good luck came and famous athletes – participants in a special military operation. The fights will last three days. The winners will compete at the Russian level.
