On the eve of the anniversary of the liberation of Rzhev, March 2, searchers found a medallion of a soldier without remains.
The form was preserved in excellent condition, the records were subtracted through special programs, the military-patriotic Center "Podvig" reported. It turned out that the medallion belonged to the Major of the Intendant Service Shanko Evgeny Semyonovich, a native of Belarus. The soldier lost it in February 1943.
