In the case of Timur Ivanov may appear new corruption crimes

From the materials of the investigation, which are at the disposal of TASS, it follows that the involvement of the former official in other corruption-related crimes is currently being checked. “The ex-deputy defense minister could commit crimes not only under the circumstances currently incriminated to him, but also in other periods of time,” the agency quotes a fragment of the investigation materials. Earlier, by court decision, Ivanov’s detention was extended by three months. Initially, the former Deputy Minister was charged with receiving a bribe in the amount of 1.125 billion rubles. Subsequently, the investigation established that from October 24, 2018 to December 31, 2023, Ivanov and other defendants in the case as part of an organized group received a bribe from the co-founder and representatives of the company "Olympsitistroy" in the form of illegal provision of property services. At the end of January, it became known about the appearance in one of the three criminal cases against Ivanov of a document containing state secrets. On March 17, the Moscow City Court will hold hearings on the case of the former deputy head of the Ministry of Defense, also accused of embezzlement of funds of the Interkommerts bank.
