In the Yaroslavl region, projects for the next season's ice rinks will be developed by the beginning of summer.

The projects for ice rinks for the upcoming winter season must be developed by June 1. The corresponding instruction was given by Governor Mikhail Evraev to the heads of cities and districts at an operational meeting in the regional government. The Governor noted that when developing the visualization, attention should be paid not only to the functionality of the ice rinks, but also to their appearance. The skating rinks should have rental and skate sharpening points, markets, as well as lighting and musical accompaniment. "It is important that the rest areas and cafes harmoniously fit into the overall concept and are accessible from the rink, as is done in Yaroslavl and Pereslavl-Zalessky. It is also necessary to provide entertainment and cultural programs," said Mikhail Evraev. The Governor also emphasized the importance of organizing the operation of the rinks. In the new season, they should be open until 11:00 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays - until 2:00 am.
