In Udmurtia, more than 8 thousand mothers raising three or more children, exercised their right to early retirement. This is reported by the press service of the SFR Department for Udmurtia. The Fund appointed an insurance pension before the generally established retirement age for 8,156 women. According to the current legislation, mothers of three, four, five or more children can retire at 57, 56 and 50 years. At the same time, the mandatory conditions for early retirement are the achievement of the child at the age of 8 years, as well as the presence of at least 15 years of experience and at least 30 pension coefficients. These coefficients are calculated for the periods of care of the child until he reaches the age of one and a half years. For one year of caring for the first child - 1.8 coefficients, for the second child - 3.6, and for the third or fourth - 5.4 coefficients. “When we started analyzing the statistics, we found a very interesting fact. Of the 8 thousand mothers with many children, whom the SFR Department for Udmurtia set early pensions, more than 6,026 women are raising five or more children, more than 536 four children and more than 1,594 three children. A large family is truly happiness, multiplied many times, despite huge parental labor, said Alexei Beltyukov, head of the Department of the Social Fund of Russia for Udmurtia. The right to an old-age insurance pension ahead of schedule also has large mothers raising adopted children. If a woman has been deprived of parental rights, she can retire only on general grounds. “If a mother with many children who retired early, children have not reached 18 years, and with full-time education – 23 years, her old-age insurance pension can be increased by establishing a fixed payment to her in an increased amount for each dependent, but not more than three,” explained Deputy Manager of the Department of the Social Fund of Russia for Udmurtia Elena Nikulina.
