Dmitry Doschatov was arrested by the Basmanny court of the capital on October 24 for receiving a large bribe. Also, the beneficiary of the Technoimport JSC, Alexander Volynsky, was taken into custody for bribery and fraud, as well as the general director of this company, Alexander Vasilyev, along with his deputy Yana Talipova, for fraud. According to media reports, a metro representative signed a contract for 3 billion rubles, but the cost of the work was only 1 billion rubles, with the rest of the amount being embezzled. To offset the damage, Doschatov was given a bribe in the form of a Toyota RAV4 car. According to Kommersant, the businessmen organized the supply of the cheapest reinforced concrete sleepers under the contract.
