The volume of federal budget revenues for the first two months of this year increased by 6.3% to 5.34 trillion rubles. This follows from the preliminary assessment of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
Non-oil and gas revenues of the federal budget amounted to about 3.8 trillion rubles, which is 11.1% higher than in the same period last year. Oil and gas revenues for January-February amounted to about 1.6 trillion rubles (+ 3.7% compared to the figure for the same period of 2024). "According to preliminary estimates, the volume of federal budget revenues in January-February 2025 amounted to 5344 billion rubles, which is 6.3% higher than the volume of income in the corresponding period of 2024," the Ministry of Finance said in a statement. Federal budget expenditures, according to preliminary estimates, in January-February 2025 amounted to more than 8 trillion rubles, which is higher than the same period last year by 30.6%. It is noted that in general, positive dynamics is observed in the part of the budget system of the Russian Federation.
