📝 Summary
A modern truck is being prepared to be released for fire departments in the Southern Urals. A new prototype has already descended from the assembly line of the plant in Miass, which will soon be finalized.
We are talking about the Ural-80 truck, which is being developed, among other things, for the tasks of the Emergencies Ministry. The special car will be more compact and maneuverable, as well as with a reduced height, which corresponds to the tasks set by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Meanwhile, under the hood – 238-horsepower engine, and the chassis is unified: this means that the car can be easily adapted to a variety of tasks of the Department. The first prototype was released in December 2024. And now they have finalized and are ready to coordinate with experts. Experts note that the truck will not only be able to carry various cargoes, but also be able to tow trailers, transport special equipment. Testing is ongoing. In mass production, the Ural-80 is planned to be launched in the second quarter of 2025.
