The Russian and American sides held talks in Riyadh on Tuesday. The Russian delegation was represented by Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov. On the US side, the meeting was attended by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the US President’s special envoy for the Middle East Stephen Whitcoff, and Donald Trump’s national security assistant Mike Waltz. The main topics of the talks were international relations and the Ukrainian conflict.
