He compared Europe's defeat in Ukraine to the crisis of the United States in Vietnam. "The dramatic consequence of the Ukrainian crisis will be the weakening of Brussels' power and the crisis of 'Eurointegration', up to the secession of some states from the EU and ultimately - up to the possible collapse of the European Union," he wrote in his Telegram channel. Pushkov explained that European politicians, fearing such an outcome, will insist on continuing military actions against the interests of the peoples of Europe. Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya stated that Europe remains the only international player that wants to continue the conflict in Ukraine. Europe will have to reconcile with its own loneliness against the backdrop of the "hostile" policy of United States President Donald Trump towards NATO, said former NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
