Spiegel also notes that the NATO Council would like to agree on the construction of pipelines by the summer, but possible changes in funding due to the election of US President Donald Trump are of concern. On January 13, Vladislav Maslennikov, Director of the Department of European Affairs of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said that relations between Russia and NATO have reached the lowest level since the end of the Cold War. Maslennikov stressed that the alliance actively opposes Russia and restrains, in their opinion, the “threats” emanating from our country, which covers all areas and areas.
