Moreover, Zelensky is becoming toxic for society as a whole, as evidenced by the voting in the Verkhovna Rada on extending his powers, Putin stated. According to the Ministry of Defense, the AFU lost 590,000 servicemen killed and wounded in 2024. Since the start of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine (since February 22, 2022), the losses of the AFU have exceeded 1 million people.
