Illegal ethanol left in warehouses was used to fake expensive alcohol, RBC writes, citing sources. For 100 million liters of sagging medical alcohol, found in 219 wholesale sellers of drugs, the state has not received 70 billion rubles of excise duties on ethanol. As a result of the inspections, three wholesale trade organizations filed applications for termination of pharmaceutical activities, nine companies received orders to eliminate violations, the activities of eight companies were suspended for 90 days. 12 protocols on administrative violations were also drawn up, the newspaper reports.
