It is noted that building a model for attracting labor migrants with the relevant ministries is “a difficult issue.” At the same time, there is a clear understanding that without proper regulation of migration, it will be very difficult for Russia to move forward and saturate the labor market. We need to look at these things openly and discuss them. According to Reshetnikov, “all developed countries are actively attracting migrant workers.” At the same time, one should not focus on those countries from which Russia is used to attracting migrants, but also look at new countries, such as Myanmar. “There are many countries in the world that actively, calmly, consciously export their labor resources,” Reshetnikov said. He added that Russia will discuss the issue of migrant workers with Myanmar, which "with a population of 55 million people exports labor resources of about 6 million people." Earlier, the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov said that Russian pharmaceutical companies are actively offering their products in the Myanmar market. According to him, a powerful pharmaceutical industry has been created in Russia, and domestic enterprises are interested in expanding their capacities in other countries. In addition, Russia wants to start supplying machine-building products to Myanmar.
