Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the plan developed together with British Prime Minister Kir Starmer to resolve the Ukrainian conflict involves a temporary truce as the first stage. After that, a peacekeeping contingent will be sent to the territory of Ukraine. Starmer stressed that the plan is guided by the need to maximize the favorable position of the Kiev regime in future negotiations with the Kremlin. According to Bloomberg, in the near future, Macron and Starmer will present to US President Donald Trump several countries that will be ready to provide security guarantees for Ukraine.
