Small and medium-sized entrepreneurs of Russia received 1.18 trillion rubles of state support from JSC SME Corporation in 2024. This was stated by the press service of the organization.
Compared to 2023, the volume of assistance to small and medium-sized businesses increased by 8%. The number of recipients of support has also increased to a record level – for the year it grew by 71%. “Small and medium-sized businesses in 2024 attracted a record 1.18 trillion rubles thanks to the financial support of the participants of the National Guarantee System (NGS), which is operated by the SME Corporation,” the press service of the SME edition “Izvestia” cites. Alexander Isayevich, General Director of SMEs, in an interview with Izvestia, said that in 2025 the corporation will focus on supporting small and medium-sized businesses in industries that form the supply economy. A new joint program with the Ministry of Industry and Trade for machine tool and robotics enterprises is launched. Plus, it is planned to restart the credit incentive program from the Bank of Russia and the SME Corporation with subsidies from the Ministry of Economic Development to support investment projects in tourism, production, logistics, IT and scientific and technical activities, he said. Earlier, Alexander Isaevich said that SMEs will focus on supporting entrepreneurs forming the supply economy until 2030, the organization intends to spend more than 5 trillion rubles on the implementation of this strategy.
