Krasnogvardeysky district court of St. Petersburg has sentenced in the case of a criminal community created for the sale of drugs. 12 people received a total of 143 years in prison, said the joint press service of city courts in the Telegram channel.
Members of the community – seven girls and five men – received from 6.5 to 15 years in prison. As reported in the court, they all distributed through the Internet "bookmarks" in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region. “In accordance with the scheme developed by the organizer, its members were to adhere to a multi-level system of illegal drug sales,” the press service said. The organizer of the community remained unidentified. However, it is known that from 2019 to 2021, he created “structural units of the criminal community”, which had the posts of “administrator”, “operator”, “courier” and “assistant leader”. The defendants partially pleaded guilty to all charges, except for Art. 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“organization of a criminal community or participation in it”).
