The Kupinsky district court of the Novosibirsk region sentenced to 3 years in prison a resident of the city of Kupino for the acquisition, storage and distribution of materials with pornographic images of minors. This was reported by the press service of regional courts of general jurisdiction.
It was established that from 2019 to July 31, 2024, a man from open sources on the Internet downloaded and saved photos and videos of a pornographic nature with images of minors, including children. He also created a private group chat in the Telegram messenger, where he published these photos and videos. “In the court session, the defendant admitted guilt in full, explained that he fully agrees with the charge against him, sincerely repents of what he did,” the press service said. The man was found guilty under paragraph "a, g" of part 2 of Article 242.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production and circulation of materials with pornographic images of minors under the age of 14 using the Internet"). He was sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 3 years with serving a sentence in a general regime colony. The convict was taken into custody in the courtroom after the proclamation of the sentence.
