In particular, Sinchenko was accused of illegal acquisition, transfer, possession of explosives, encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer, espionage, participation in a terrorist community, as well as assistance in sabotage activities. According to the court, in total, the citizen of Ukraine was charged with 40 episodes of crimes. “According to the set of crimes by partial addition, Sinchenko will be finally sentenced to 26 years in prison,” the judge said. The indictment says that in 2016, Sinchenko made explosive devices that he later used to blow up shopping kiosks in Donetsk to extort money from entrepreneurs. According to the investigation, in 2018 he began to cooperate with the SBU. The man was also accused of a series of explosions on the territory of the DPR, including the undermining of a railway bridge-overpass and power lines in 2019. In addition, Sinchenko followed the law enforcement officers who were going to kill. Sinchenko denies his guilt on most of the articles he is accused of.
