It is specified that we are talking about the transfer of weapons to Ukraine at the expense of income from frozen Russian assets. “The decision of the French authorities to transfer income from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine violates all norms of international law,” Volodin said. He added that France would have to answer for its actions and return the stolen goods. Earlier, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said that France will transfer to Ukraine a package of military assistance for 195 million euros. It will be financed by interest on frozen Russian assets. The announced aid package involves the transfer to Kiev of 155-mm artillery shells and planning AASM bombs, which are armed with Mirage fighters. These aircraft have already been transferred to the APU.
