"I believe that our residents should enjoy this celebration. Now they showed a selection of episodes from films in which Nikolai Petrovich Burlyaev starred. They are all imbued with patriotism, speak about Russia, the Russian soul, the difficult fate of a person. The film festival of moral cinema, established in 1992, gathers leading figures of cinema under the slogan "For moral ideals, for the elevation of the human soul." This call is especially relevant today. Preserving traditional foundations and eternal spiritual values ​​plays a key role in strengthening the unity of society and national self-awareness," noted Yuri Zaitsev. Participants and viewers of the festival were greeted in a video message by the famous actor, People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Mashkov: "The rich and diverse program of the festival will give viewers the opportunity to reflect on the great history and rich cultural heritage of Russia. This is especially important today, when there are so many threats against our spiritual foundations. It is precisely now that it is necessary to create works that show examples of true love for the Motherland. I wish everyone who has gathered in Yoshkar-Ola today bright emotions, new discoveries, and unforgettable moments of communication." As part of the festival, from February 24 to 26, film screenings, exhibitions, creative meetings, and concerts will take place in Yoshkar-Ola.
