Statements by former Greek Ambassador to Ukraine Vasilios Bornovas that OSCE observers gave Kiev intelligence about the deployment of forces of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, require a serious investigation. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
In an interview with the Hellas Journal, Bornovas reported on cases of the use by Kiev security forces of information collected by OSCE observers about the situation on the contact line in Donbass in 2014-2022. “This requires not just political statements, but a serious investigation!” Zakharova wrote on her Telegram channel. The diplomat stressed that “howls about the fact that it was under the previous leadership of the OSCE Secretariat” cannot be taken into account. “The OSCE is obliged to respond effectively to the charges,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said. Earlier, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly announced its readiness to send peacekeepers to Ukraine.
