Almost 100 tons of soil with fuel oil raised divers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from the bottom of the Black Sea since the beginning of work to eliminate the consequences of emergency with tankers.
In total, in the coastal zone of Anapa and in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar Territory, divers made 1,112 descents at 19 sites of work. “A diving survey and collection of oil-containing waste was carried out, 1984 (more than 99 tons) of bags were collected,” compressor stations are used to wash fuel oil from bottom sediments and its subsequent collection. Tankers with fuel oil Volgoneft 212 and Volgoneft 239 crashed in the Kerch Strait on December 15. According to the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, four tanks with oil products were damaged in the crash, about 2.4 thousand tons of fuel oil got into the sea. Emergency regimes were introduced in the Kuban, Crimea and Sevastopol. At the end of February, new emissions of petroleum products were reported on the beaches of Anapa.
