Caterpillar excavators loaded small fractions of fuel oil into dump trucks from the embankment and removed from the shore. After that, the artificial reservoir and the area around it were treated with a sorbent. Specialists will continue to inspect the area. If they find oil or rainbow film on the surface of the water, they will retreat it with a sorbent. As previously reported "Vesti Sochi", the ship "Volgoneft-239" crashed in the Kerch Strait on December 15, 2024. The feed of the tanker ran aground near Cape Panagia. Dismantling of the ship was completed on March 7.
