The Central Election Commission of the Republic summed up the preliminary results of the second round of the presidential election. Votes are counted, ballots processed.

Badra Gunba received 54.73% of the vote, Adgur Ardzinba – 41.54%. Voter turnout in the second round of the presidential elections in Abkhazia was 70%. More than 100,000 residents of the republic took part in the elections. More than two thousand people voted against all of them. 152 polling stations worked in 35 constituencies of Abkhazia, two more were opened in Moscow and Cherkessk. The head of the CEC Dmitry Marchand said that the violations that were identified cannot affect the election results. This is because the gap in the number of votes cast for candidates is too large.
